2nd Annual Thanksgiving Ride

Thanksgiving Ride Trail Report

Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend!

We kicked the day off with sunshine and cold temps, but the clouds rolled in pretty quick. Still, it warmed up a bit, and honestly it wasn’t bad at all didn’t hear anyone complaining about the cold.

We got to meet some new folks (who were awesome) and catch up with the usual crew. Brushy Fork was in great shape not too muddy and the water crossings were totally manageable.

Clifton gave us a little challenge with that super steep hill, but everyone worked together and made it up. The 2 door was the only one that cleared it without catching the frame. That trail really needs to be run one direction now to keep it from getting torn up worse than it already is it’s been about a year since some of us last hit it.

After a few of us hit Pumpkin Hollow and at the end I ran Old Fincastle before I heading back home.

Overall, it was a great day. Loved meeting the new people and hanging out with everybody. Thanks to everyone who came out!
